Hi folks.
I'm scheduling this newsletter before I leave for AWP so I can travel without my laptop, but I hope by the time you receive it I've run into many of you at the conference, and have some updates to share about that next time.
Here's what we've published throughout the week:
Katy Dycus returned to review The Last Quarter of the Moon by Chi Zijian and translated by Bruce Humes (Milkweed Editions).
Milo Todd discussed his novel The Lilac People (Counterpoint Press) with Aiden Grace Smith.
Our featured story was "The Tea Witch" by Ashley Burnett, selected by guest editor DeMisty D. Bellinger. More of Ashley's writing is available here, and more from DeMisty is here.
And in research notes, past contributor Ellen Meeropol returned to write about her new novel Sometimes An Island (Sea Crow Press).
Thanks for reading,
Steve Himmer |
