Hi everyone. Here's what we've been up to at Necessary Fiction this week:

Our reviews editor Diane Josefowicz wrote about The Cut Line by Carolina Pihelgas, translated by Darcy Hurford (World Editions). 

The week's featured story was "Lost Girls" by Melissa Ostrom, whose writing you can find more of at her website.

And in research notes, Ari Phillips wrote about his novel Grow Old And Don't Die from Rand-Smith Books. 

Finally, The Given World, the latest novel by contributor Melissa Harrison, will be published in early October, and I very much look forward to reading it. If you aren't familiar with Melissa's writing (and podcasting) already, why not start enjoying those until her new book arrives?
