PS When this update starts winging its way to all of you, I should be enjoying myself at the Rotterdam Bluegrass Festival, which seems like a great way to spend a July 4 about which I have complicated feelings (as I expect many of you do, too). Whether it's the curious distance of American roots music filtered through Dutch interpretation or something else, I hope those of you it matters to can find what you need in this day.
