Hi folks. Here's what's new this week at Necessary Fiction:
Gabrielle Stecher Woodward reviewed Mount Verity by Therese Bohman, translated by Marlaine Delargy for Other Press. We're glad to have Gabrielle's writing in our pages for the first time. You'll find more of her work here.
And this week's story was "Drown" by returning contributor Sarah Fawn Montgomery, selected by guest editor DeMisty Bellinger.
Elsewhere, the first issue of Crossroads, "a new zine exploring folk horror in the United States," is now shipping if you're interested in checking it out. And our friends at Fork Apple Press are now accepting submissions to The Slice essay collection contest.
Finally, spring seems to be arriving here in New England at last, or at least enough of it to sit on the porch in the sun without shivering. So I hope wherever you are you've got your own version of a good book, a good dog, and some good fun.
Thanks for reading,
Steve Himmer
