Hi everyone. I hope it has been a good week for you all. Here's what we've been up to:
On Monday we shared Mandy-Suzanne Wong's review of False War by Carlos Manuel Álvarez, translated by Natasha Wimmer (Graywolf Press). We previously published Mandy-Suzanne's story "Mills Creek," and we're glad to be sharing her work again.
Then on Wednesday our featured story was "Mike Dyson" by Agnes Pyrchla, appearing in our pages for the first time.
And submissions will close tomorrow for our annual flash fiction summer series.
Elsewhere, K.C. Mead-Brewer ("Why The Moon Wanes") shared news of a writer's residency she has started in Baltimore, The Doll House.
And speaking of Baltimore, we won't have an official presence at AWP but I will be there roaming the book fair and at the events for Redivider and Ploughshares back to back at Angels Rock Bar on Thursday evening, March 5. If you see me, please say hello!
Thanks for reading,
