Hi everyone.
I hope you've had a good week, all things considered, whatever the challenges have been where you are. Here's what we've been up to in between bouts of shoveling snow:
Catherine Gammon returned to our pages with a review of Grace Before The Fall by Geri Lipschultz (Dark Winter Press).
Then this week's featured story was "Surrender Calls" by Angela Townsend, whose work we are pleased to share for the first time.
And in our research notes series, Agri Ismaïl wrote about Hyper from Coffee House Press.
Submissions remain open until February 15 for our annual flash fiction summer series.
Elsewhere, There Is News Along The Ohio River, a collection of "vignettes that exist somewhere between micro-essays and prose poems" by contributor Beth Gilstrap, is available for preorder from River River Books and will be published in February.
Thanks for reading,
Steve Himmer |
