Frequent reviewer Brian O'Neill returned to write about On The Greenwich Line by Shady Lewis, translated by Katharine Halls for Peirene. It's always a privilege to share his work.

Then Curtis Smith interviewed Jen Michalski about her new novel All This Can Be True, newly available from Keylight Books. Great to have Curtis and Jen back in our pages.

And we kicked off our summer flash fiction series with "An Accident Of Love" by Nan Byrne, a writer we're excited to publish for the first time.

Congratulations to contributor Aram Mrjoian, whose novel Waterline was published this week by Harper. 

I think there was something else I meant to include for this week, but — a little peek behind the scenes here — the turkey hen who woke me at 4:45 this morning has been singing her heart out at my window for the last hour while I've prepared this newsletter, and I'm laughing too hard to remember what it was I wanted to add. I hope all her Broadway dreams come true.
