Court Ludwick returned to our pages with a review of Scar by Sara Mesa, translated by Adriana Nodal-Tarafa for Dalkey Archive.

And our featured story this week was "Picnic Girl" by Patrick May, published with us for the first time.  

Then in research notes, Kevin Allardice joined us again to write about his novel The Manuscripts from What Books Press. 

Congratulations are due to Joel Hans, winner of the 2024 Moon City Short Fiction Award for his story collection, The Bedtime Emptying of Our World, to be published later this year. Here's Joel's story "Day 4,372" from back in 2013.

And Courtney Gustafson ("Countenance," 2015) recently published Poets Square: A Memoir In Thirty Cats with Crown. 

Finally, It's No Fun Anymore, a story collection by reviewer Brittany Micka-Foos, is coming soon from Apprentice House.
