I hope you've all had a good week. Here's what we've been up to at Necessary Fiction:
On Monday, Lynn Schmeidler reviewed Double-Check for Sleeping Children by Kirstin Allio, recently published by FC2. That's Lynn's first time in our pages though we did previously publish Helena Constance Aeberli's review of her own collection Half-Lives.
We've also previously published Kirstin's research notes for her book Clothed, Female Figure, and her review of The Best That You Can Do by Amina Gautier.
Then on Wednesday, this week's story was "Cat People" by Benjamin Johnson, a writer appealing in our pages for the first time.
Our next themed submission period, "Hunger," will open tomorrow, September 15, and will remain open until September 30. Guidelines will be available here once they open.
Thanks for reading, Steve Himmer |
